How does Spark Tank work?

Step 1: Identify your bright idea

Step 2: Get support to complete your application from the Spark Tank team if you have any questions
by emailing 

Step 3: Attend one of the Spark Tank Info sessions which will be held throughout November, see session
dates and times on

Step 4: Complete your Spark Tank Application Form

Step 5: Email us your Spark Tank Initial Application by 5pm Monday 12th December

Step 6: Applications judged by the Spark Tank Energy Experts and the finalists notified by 20 December 2016

Step 7: The Three finalists selected in each of the three categories will be provided with specialist
support through January and February to further develop your bright idea

Step 8: Spark Tank Final Applications submitted for the Spark Tank Final by 5pm Friday 24 February 2017

Step 9: Spark Tank Event Final on Thursday March 16, 2017 where all applications are presented to the
Spark Tank Energy Experts  and winners and funding announced

Step 10: April- June 2017 Spark Tank winners supported with a project implementation plan, access to
specialist mentors and guidance on other funding
