How can we improve online tutorials?

The rapid shift to online learning that is taking place requires educators and students to quickly adapt to a new learning interface and environment. While education providers are transitioning back to a face 2 face when possible, it is likely that online learning is here to stay.

While breakout rooms and screen sharing enables some of the activities that take place in a face 2 face setting to be replicated, the online environment can limit social interaction and ease of communication.

How can online tutorials be made more engaging and accessible for lectures and students, while also ensuring students have the opportunity to learn and apply critical concepts.
