CLEANTECH
Griffith University EcoCentre
& SPARKTANK

SPARKTANK is an enabler for collecting ideas no matter what the subject!

CLEANTECH and Griffith University EcoCentre have partnered with SparkTank to host and conduct workshops with local councils, businesses and other organisations to demonstrate accessibility and use of the sustainable development goals. Through these workshops, individuals are able to integrate ideas, learn and develop solutions for how business can apply the goals in a simple and repeatable fashion. Using SparkTank, the group is able to quickly capture all ideas and prioritise these to share as soon as the workshop is complete.

Participants interact in a fun way in person in the game and contribute to solving challenges online using their laptop or mobile phone. A fast-paced way to capture ideas and create engagement.

The ‘2030 SDGs Game’ is an innovative, interactive and fun card-based game that simulates taking the world into the year 2030. Designed in Japan in 2016, it has become a powerful and impactful social phenomenon in Japan, reaching over 250,000 participants in corporate, governmental, educational, and community settings, and has over 700 trained
facilitators in Japan and 60 all over the world. The game bridges the gap between awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals and understanding their purpose and how they are implemented. It assists organisations in embracing the SDG’s and creating positive change.
